Grapes are Sour story in English

There was a forest. A fox lived there. He would roam in the forest and rest when tired. He would eat fruit of his liking when hungry.

Once he was very hungry. He was wandering in the forest in search of prey but he could not get anything. He couldn't get any fruit also. He was deadly tired. He stopped under a tree and thought. What to do now? He looked at the far end of the forest. He saw some houses.

It was a small village. He hoped, he would get something to eat in the village. He started briskly towards the village. He saw an orchid near it. It had vine - canopies. There were bunches of grapes on the vines. They looked sweet and delicious.

The whole garden was bending down with the grapes. His mouth watered seeing the grapes. He glanced inside. And nobody was seen around. Every vine had bunches of grapes. Grapes were seen everywhere - golden, green. The fox was greatly pleased. He zoomed with pleasure.

He moved through the whole vineyard. Then he stopped under a section. He looked up. How sweet and delicious were the grapes! What a beautiful color - green. Golden! He said 'I have never seen such grapes! Never tasted such grapes! I will get such delicious grapes today. I will be grateful. I will eat grapes to my satisfaction.

He looked up. There was a tempting bunch over his head. But it was somewhat higher. He jumped to grab it. He could not reach it. He tried again. Yet he couldn't touch it. He started jumping higher and higher. Sometimes his nose would touch the grapes. But not his mouth. Again he jumped higher and higher.

But not a single grape he could eat. He went on jumping for the grapes. He was deadly tired then. He stopped jumping. He stood gazing at the grapes. He started to leave crestfallen. While leaving he muttered. These grapes are sour grapes!
