Second Installment of Rs 500 will come in Jan Dhan Account in May

Disbursal plan for PM Jan Dhan Yojana Women Beneficiaries

Under PM Gareeb Kalyan Package, accounts of PMJDY credited with the instalment of Rs. 500 for the month of May. The money in the bank is safe and there is no need to rush for withdrawal.


The second installment of Rs. 500 per month of women beneficiaries of Jan Dhan Yojana will start coming into their account between May 4 to 11 May. Banks are also informing their account holders via SMS. For withdrawal of beneficiary funds, use the RuPay card in ATMs. For withdrawal money Bank Mitra and CSP is also working, so that the branches are not overcrowded. Also keep in mind that there are currently no charges as per the instructions of the Government of India to withdraw money from the ATM of another bank.

  • Bank A/C ending with 0 and 1, Date of Disbursal 4th May 2020
  • Bank A/C ending with 2 and 3, Date of Disbursal 5th May 2020
  • Bank A/C ending with 4 and 5, Date of Disbursal 6th May 2020
  • Bank A/C ending with 6 and 7, Date of Disbursal 8th May 2020
  • Bank A/C ending with 8 and 9, Date of Disbursal 11th May 2020

The Modi government had announced relief to women. To give relief to poor women during lockdown, the government has decided to give Rs 500 per month to 20.5 crore women holding Jan Dhan account for the next three months. This amount will come directly to their account. The amount of Rs. 500 per month of the Mahila Jan Dhan Yojana beneficiaries had started coming into their account from April 3. This is the second Installment of three monthly installments under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana Will come Between May 4 to May 11.

You can withdraw the money immediately. However for orderly disbursal, you may follow the Bank's payment plan as given here.

After 11th May, beneficiaries may withdraw any day at their convenience.

This will help in ensuring social distancing and avoiding overcrowding in banks. Beneficiaries are requested to follow the above schedule & ensure safety of all Beneficiaries can also use the neighbourhood ATMs with Rupay cards, Bank Mitras, CSPs, for withdrawal to avoid crowding at the Branches. Please note that as per Govt of India directions, there are no charges for withdrawing money from any of bank's ATM.
